Supreme Court Raises Scrutiny for Affirmative Action.
Civil Rights activists breathed a sigh of relief today when the Supreme Court made a ruling raising scrutiny for the use of Affirmative Action, but not eliminating the law outright. Opponents worry the law has run its course, taking seats from more deserving applicants in favor of minorities to simply meet diversity requirements and supporters say its still needed to ensure diversity and combat racism in higher education settings...
