Heat. The What.

I know you all thought it was a celebration of Lebron James' second NBA Championship, but sorry, I haven't resorted to fan-art quite yet.

Heat. is a piece about heat...or about figurative heat. Pressure...stress...expectation...all are included. The piece shows two sides. The side where you "feel the heat" and the side that's a bit more seen by the people around you. The left side reflects the inner turmoil...the right the side that you show those around you....or maybe it's the other way around...

It's more about the two sides you create out of it than a specific instance, event or feeling...and it's the viewer that really informs the piece as to what exactly there are two sides to. If you're worried about your beach body, it's about being self-consious in an image-oriented society. If you're feeling pressure to get work done, it's about self-confidence or questioning your abilities. If you're feeling pressure to grow up and get a job, maybe it's about hesitation and fear of growing older...

it's about having two sides of emotion...and those two sides are defined by you.
