Temporary Architecture: An Avenue Through Recession or a Sign of The Future?

Most of the buildings built for this Olympiad are somewhat temporary structures, meant to stand for the games and be taken down with materials recycled or transported to another location. With sites in Athens and Beijing lying unused, abandoned, and in disrepair,it seems like the perfect solution. But it's not just the Olympics that is seeing a influx of temporary and cheaper structures pop up...it's happening all around the world in all kinda of cities for all kinds of projects.
