Fundraising, Selling, and Sleeping Late.

FIRE!FIRE! went down this Saturday and I have to say it was a BIG success. We had a great turnout, the art community came out in droves, and all the donated work was sold! The live auction went well, the food and drinks were great and I'm pretty sure most everyone had a great time....and I slept in Sunday, so that's a plus also.

I sold these two pieces...The first at the live auction, the second through the silent. Congrats to the buyers there...

Then I also sold the girl's T-shirt (3 still available!) and a small drawing (though I'm not sure which one)

And then, finally, I got some good work done on a pretty cool piece...

So...great job everyone. Thanks for everyone that helped and donated. Thanks to those who came to volunteer, to those who bought work and thanks to the Milwaukee Art Community for showing how well we can come together for a worthy cause. It's not only uplifting that we can do this, but it's a vital part of making the Art Community strong and moving it forward.
