Im sure we won't have to wait long for the next Ancient Aliens to talk about how these are proof of alien intervention, but before we are all convinced by that tantalizing arguement, here's an actual article about some new lines found in the middle east. I dunno bout you, but I have a lot of interest in the "language" used by ancient cultures, their symbols and their beliefs and it actually comes through alot in my work.
