Unesco Stops Unauthorized Rebuilding of Bamiyan Buddhas.
Authorities at Unesco were surprised and outraged to find German archeologists rebuilding the Bamiyan Buddhas, destroyed in 2001 by the Taliban, apparently without permission from Unesco or the Afghan authorities and have stopped the unauthorized reconstruction. Take a look...
