Twitter and the political landscape were on fire over the weekend when The Progressive released an article announcing that emails in the recently released trove pointed to a voter suppression scheme run by Walker and his Aides during the recall…Unfortunately no one had apparently checked their facts before jumping on the story, as the Progressive just apologized for the inaccurate report. Nothing makes your opponent look better than accusing them of something totally unfounded and spreading it like wildfire. I don't expect much to come from the emails, but if those researching continuously cry wolf at every tiny discrepancy or misunderstanding of a word, you'll lose a large part of your audience by the time you actually have something to report.
