The square is making a comeback...OK, it never really left...but i usually tend toward the vertical composition and a square can sometimes present a very different challenge...Do you go for a target? Do you center the image and rely on the balance or do you really try to throw it all off, risking a composition that might just tip over?

It's all part of the fun and, even if it doesn't work, just paint over it.
