While some applauded the unique exhibitions and viewpoint brought by troubled LAMOCA director Jeffrey Deitch, many found the shows a bit too "pop" oriented and point to the museum's lowest budget in 15 years as a sign that the man simply wasn't ready for the job and didn't have enough of a background in fundraising. With his recent resignation, hopes for the museum are high, but many within the organization seem to know that the road ahead may be a rocky one...
