A one room show might not sound like much of a proposal...but that depends on the room and, of course, the art. This show would consist of a room approximately 10x10x10ft with six 5x10ft pieces covering three of the walls, and a mural covering both the ceiling and floor. The last remaining wall would have a smaller-than-average door for viewers to access the room, along with a similar mural to the floor and ceiling. Visually, the room's borders would be split into two three part sections, one section of murals, one of paintings.
The paintings would be about the people.
The murals would be about the urban environment.
The subjects are separate entities, but much like a real city, they are compacted to appear one in the same. Only upon closer inspection can you see the individuality of the people and how they connect or differ from the city around them and how it all intertwines to become one experience.
