One of my favorite things to do as I near completion on a piece is to compare the finished piece to various images along the way. This one had only one in-progress photo...but I think the differences are interesting to see.
No one would say that adding color is a small change...but i think there's much more to see than simply saying "color was added." The mood of the piece changes...the complexity changes...even the perception of media changes..
It's not so I can go and second guess my choices...but for future work, it helps to know how a piece may shift with the changes you make...
