Last year's flu went by fairly easily...but this year is a sign of just how quickly it can turn around. 20 children have now died of the virus and, being someone who got the swine flu back when that was the popular thing to do, I rushed out to get the shot...but there are a large amount who aren't. For various reasons, people refuse to vaccinate themselves and their children...but why?

What about you? I grew up in a very medically minded town (Rochester MN, home of the Mayo Clinic) with a doctor dad, so flu shots were never a strange thing to me and were never really in question....it's just what you did in a bad flu season.
What, if anything, would make you change your flu tactics, or, what's your reason for NOT getting the shot?
