So we all have heard the news about Bin Laden by now and you either rejoiced internally or externally...not hearing it till this morning and just kinda smiled on the way to work, but was in no way ecstatic. I guess i just found myself thinking about september 11th, and with family members speaking on the radio, it was more of a solemn "thankfulness" I guess that his part in this whole thing is over. I understand the parties and celebration, I personally didn't react that way. That said there is still a long way to go and a lot more people who have had just as much of a part in the events recently as he. Remember, as much as we view him as the leader of the opposition, he had relinquished much of his power so that he could stay hidden for as long as he did. There is much work to be done...Here is a pretty good article that outlines some of the questions brought up now. What happens with the war? Who deserves the credit? What happens now? The comments section gets a little ridiculous with left and right people really smakcing each other with fairly outlandish theories and language so I would skip that other than for pure entertainment....but if your interested in the next thought, take a look...
