From Right to Left. The What.

From Right to Left is about things happening in the wrong order. From the title, to the reading of the work, to the images displayed and their meaning, everything in the piece is contrary to the norm or out-of-order from how it should go.

Inspired by the recent abundance of news and outrage from the Michael Brown case, the piece forces the viewer to look at things from the "wrong" direction and presents a story that can be interpreted from this.

There's an event, a hand, a bang, blame, and a red hand....a set of interpretable symbols that should happen in a very different order yet, as defined by the title, is carried out in this fashion regardless. Forcing the viewer to read the piece backwards creates a sense of discomfort, just as being told what to do, if contrary to common-sense, causes a sense of unease in the real-world.

The piece is out of order...the title forces you to view it as such...so what happens next?
