Men's Hall. The What.

"Men's Hall" presents the viewer with symbols, objects, figures, and a setting and then asks them to draw the connecting lines. With the images presented, the viewer draws upon current events, personal beliefs, personal experience and subconscious bias to create a narrative unique to each point of view. Instead of pushing a specific viewpoint, instead of trying to convince you of something you do not know, it seeks to inspire genuine revelation within the viewer.

Stop asking what the artist is telling you to think and simply look. What does it say to you? How do YOU understand the piece...and how does that reflect upon you as the viewer?

Things to think about:
What thoughts does the title conjure?
How can the title connect with the images?
What do the images depict? If not that, what ELSE do the images depict?

How does your immediate reaction differ from the long view?
What does your reaction say about you and your beliefs?
