Rothko Returns to Tate…but Did the Tate Learn Anything from the Attack?


Rothko's famed Black on Maroon is back on view after a long restoration following a bizarre attack in 2012…but while the museum successfully brought the piece back to it's former glory, did they learn anything about preventing these types of attacks in the future?
