Scientists may be changing their thoughts on how large Dinosaurs looked following the recent discovery of a giant, feathered relative of the T-rex.
It's long been theorized that dinosaurs descended from birds rather than reptiles, and in result, it was believed that early dinosaurs were covered in feathers. However, it had been long thought that large dinosaurs shed their feathers as evolution continued and the large bodies helped with heat production, making the feathers unnecessary...this finding throws all that into question, even bringing up the possibility that T'rex itself may have been a feather covered predator...take a look!
