Pull Your Ribs Apart and Let The Sun Inside is a piece I worked on Saturday and Sunday and turned out far better than expected. It started as "Chevron" from about a month ago and though I liked concept of the piece, I don't think the imagery did it justice. It was powerful enough to interest the viewer into discovcring the meaning...and thus the concept was dead. Maybe it will be re-visited, but that's for another day. 


This piece is about life or maybe rebirth from death. It's interconnecting the two. You have an image that can be haunting yet inspirational...energetic in both it's grief and joy. Death is the road to awe...to quote a good movie (The Fountain)
