Fingerprint.
This is a piece that I was pleasantly surprised by from the weekend. I had a newly empty paint tub (of which I have about 100) and a new roll of canvas, and decided to try out a small, round surface. The tubs are about 3-4 inches in diameter and about 4 inches thick...making a pretty good little canvas.
The piece entitled Fingerprint. is a piece about nature. The colors are ment to be representative of the seasons, the branched symbols are meant to represent life. In it's simplest, it's a lovely composition of color. At it's most complex, it's a representation of the world.
