Every Mountain In All The World

This is a piece I did last night and it's, in general, about perspective. At first glance the title and the image maybe funny...ridiculous...it's impossible to draw what the title claims, to even really represent that. At the same time, now that we have the power of flight, we can zoom out and actually see vast expanses and translate those images to smaller scale. At the same time again, or world is always changing and what goes up is coming down, weather is warming, and mountain glaciers are melting...in that respect, eventually, all the mountains in the world will be literally gone, smaller than this canvas which, at this point in time, seemed ridiculously small itself to house such a grand idea...

In effect, it's kind of a joke...while also being philosophical. What seems impossible, ridiculous, and stupid now, may be entirely normal in the future...
