A Dream Where We Meet
I didn't write about this piece at first because I simply wasn't ready to. It was almost an afterthought to Maps, though I felt like it was just as, if not more, important...It had a very clear vision, it just came together as I was cleaning up and about to go to bed...
The title is exactly what it's about. And I wanted to display a 'meeting' in the most simple form; two distinct shapes butting up against each other, bold in their own color yet interacting along the edge. The lines are meant to be this new 'shape'...being...materialization of the meeting. When two people meet something new forms...a friendship, an acquaintance, a general understanding of each other. Where there was once two separate objects, we now blur that line, leave a bit of each behind, and create totally new realities...
