You'd think it would be a pretty big deal when the first man made object leaves the solar system. It's been 35 years in the making, it would involve the longest operating spacecraft ever...and, frankly, it's pretty amazing that we made something that could travel 11 billion+ miles (yes billion) and still communicate with it. But scientists are scrambling to figure out if we've already broken that barrier...around two months ago.
