I am absolutely comfortable with the fact that men marrying men, women marrying women, and heterosexual men and women marrying another are entitled to the same exact rights, all the civil rights, all the civil liberties. And quite frankly, I don't see much of a distinction—beyond that.Furthering confusion, Biden backtracked a bit and stumbled over whether he supported gay-marraige, civil unions, or just rights of married people in states that have legalized gay-marraige. On top of that, many see the wavering as the Pres & VP trying to avoid an outright stance on the issue, straddling the line so that his support can be from people more varied on their opinions of the issue.
