The Erie Street (is-it-even-a) Plaza

It's supposed to be a landmark, and I'd hesitate to even call it a plaza.

The Erie Street Plaza was supposed to be a great place to take a seat and soak in some of Milwaukee's waterfront, but a year later, it looks more like some kind of post-apocalyptic spongebob-inspired minimalist garden. The natural plants are overgrown, the seating is dirty and discolored, and frankly, the entire "plaza" could be walked past with no notice given whatsoever...and that might be best for everyone. Check out this critique of the Erie Street Plaza...What would you have done?
