Best wishes to all involved...

I know this is hypocritical to post the story and then say this...but I watched a documentary the other night where a researcher stated that they believe a large cause for shootings happening in close time proximity to each other is the media attention given to them. You have a number of people who are all disgruntled and in fragile states of mind, all having "dreams" of "fixing" their problems, and seeing another person taking action gives them confidence to do it themselves. He then said that after a major shooting, you can predict another within the next two weeks and you'd be correct quite often.
I really do wish the best for anyone involved in this and future events, but I'm not gonna post shootings anymore, just cuz that makes too much sense to risk.

Lance Armstrong To Be Banned for Life, Stripped of Titles.
Big story even outside of the sports world. Lance Armstrong says he will not continue his fight against doping allegations. Armstrong did not admit guilt, saying that he was tired of constantly campaigning against what he called an "unconstitutional witch hunt."Take a look.

And Now For Something Completely Different.
When I said "sometimes you just need to start over" I really wasn't kidding. About 4-5 hours of ripping canvas, hot gluing, and picking up approximately 8 million strands of canvas string later, we have With All These People Rushing To The Boats, We'll Sink Like a Stone When We Finally Hit The Water. And wouldn't you know it, some of the original teal, blue and black is still peaking through at the edges...
Cool Video From Dan Deacon
Here's something to brighten up your day a bit. Take a look at the new Dan Deacon video. In a sort of video telephone project, they got a number of groups to watch a video one time through, then had to recreate the video as closely as they could. The next group watched what the first group did, the third watched the second, the fourth watched the third and so on...

Elderly Woman "Restores" (Destroys) 19th Century Fresco.
Here's one from the "WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?!?!" files...an elderly woman was recently found to have totally destroyed a 19th century fresco of Jesus after a botched attempt and restoring the piece. The woman had no knowledge of restoration and was not asked by the owners to do the work. Historians say the act wasn't malicious but misguided....I'd be inclined to agree.
